The conference is designed for health scientists, fitness trainers, coaches, and others seeking to enhance and broaden their understanding of sports injury treatment
Venue
The conference is scheduled to take place in Heraklion, Crete, and will be conducted across two distinct venues to facilitate interactive education. On Saturday, June 1, the conference sessions will be hosted at the Th. Vardinogiannis Stadium, while on Sunday, June 2, the program will continue at the Vardinogianni Sports Center, encompassing diverse settings such as lecture halls, rehabilitation areas, and a football field.

The comprehensive schedule will soon be disclosed on the sportsmededu.gr website and the official PAE OFI website. On the inaugural day of the conference, Saturday, June 1, there will be lectures focused on tendinopathy, delving into topics such as pathophysiology, epidemiology, risk factors, diagnosis, medical interventions, prevention, and rehabilitation. On the subsequent day, Sunday, June 2, two workshops are scheduled. The first, tailored for physicians, will cover “Ultrasound for the Diagnosis and Guided Treatment of Tendinopathy,” while the second workshop, aimed at physical therapists, fitness trainers, coaches, etc., will revolve around “Prevention and Rehabilitation Exercises for Lower Limb Tendinopathies.”
